Ms. Monica C. Moran
Attorney Monica C. Moran is a vibrant New York City lawyer, focusing her practice on intellectual property, small business entrepreneurship, entertainment law, and estate planning. Since the age of seventeen, Ms. Moran vowed to meaningfully contribute to the practice of law, and she remains focused on keeping that promise to herself and her clientele.
Ms. Moran has a passion for providing legal guidance to those in their time of need. Whether it’s dissecting the terms of a major publishing deal to authoring a living trust, Attorney Moran is known for her analytical skills, poise in personal demeanor and writing abilities.
Prior to starting her own legal boutique, Attorney Moran was an attorney and legal intern for some of the most iconic and finest corporations, entertainment law practices, record labels and non-profits in the industry, such as Universal Motown Music Group and The Recording Academy. Additionally, Attorney Moran has several years of corporate In-House Counsel experience, practicing as the lead Intellectual Property attorney for a two billion dollar partnership, where she was able to successfully negotiate and draft hundreds of licensing and technology agreements.
Attorney Moran received a Masters of Law from Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School in Intellectual Property Law, where she was a Dean's Merit Scholar. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from The George Washington Law School in Washington, D.C., where she focused her studies in entertainment law and estate planning. Prior to attending law school, Attorney Moran achieved a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies & Philosophy, respectively, from St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Attorney Moran is barred in New York, where she runs her practice. She is also a Registered New York State Real Estate Broker and Notary of Republic.
